Family Caregiver Training

Caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia is difficult. The six-week Family Caregiver Training provides the knowledge, skills and tools to successfully care for those living with dementia. Family caregivers and friends are invited to attend the training at no cost and learn how to best care for their loves ones. The individual training sessions cover in detail the following topics and each session builds on each other: What to Expect; Communication; Managing Behaviors; Daily Care Management & Home Safety; Planning for the Future and Reducing Stress & Coping Skills.

One set of classes begins on Saturday, January 21st and goes through Saturday, February 25th.
A second set of classes begins on Tuesday, February 7th and goes through Tuesday, March 14th.
