The James L. West Center for Dementia Care was established as a not-for-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization to provide dementia care and education to the families we serve and the community-at-large. Charitable giving is central to the James L. West Center’s existence – we were founded through the transformational gift of a family in 1991. Generations of donors funded the growth and evolution of our services; now our future depends on you, the donor of today.
An essential part of the operations of the James L. West Center for Dementia Care is the Center’s foundation, the James L. West Presbyterian Center Foundation. The James L. West Center Foundation provides funding to support the Center’s operation. It provides financial aid funding made available to families in the Center and the Day Program whose resources have been expended due to a dementia diagnosis. The Texas Presbyterian Foundation is our mission partner, assisting with planned gifts to the James L. West Foundation.
When you give to the James L. West Center for Dementia Care and/or the James L. West Presbyterian Special Care Foundation, you give to a community of hope, a life of fulfillment and growth to residents, families, and staff.
