Daily Living & Home Safety: Seeing the world through their eyes
This class focuses on sensory deficits and safety awareness in persons with dementia. We learn how stimulation, sensory, and judgement deficits affect the environmental, mental, emotional, and physical state of persons living with dementia. We will discuss how to prepare the home to make it safer and the best practices to verbally, visually and physically assist someone with their self-care activities.
